Pauletta Hatchett, Executive Director

 

Pauletta Hatchett is a powerful speaker, health educator, and fitness trainer for schools, churches, community organizations, and youth.  She is the Founder and Executive Director of MegaFit Health, Recreation and Fitness whose mission is to “Equip People to Live Healthy Holistic Lives.” 

 

In September 2006, Pauletta Hatchett received the Legacy III Faith-Based Award for outstanding service to the Summit County community along with a commendation from the Ohio House of Representatives for her dedicated work to improve the lives of others and for being one of Ohio’s finest citizens.

  • Developer of the “90-Day Fitness Plan,” a program that teaches people how to establish a healthy lifestyle with good nutrition and physical activity

  • Most recent honor was being nominated for the prestigious “Great Women of the 21st Century” award by the American Biographical Institute.

Pauletta Hatchett is nearing the completion of her three-year term as a Board Member of C.O.C.I.N.A. (Coalition of Children In Need Association) where she helps oversee the educational, health, and vocational needs of impoverished students at Institution Univers and the community in Ouanaminthe, Haiti.  She is a former faculty member of the Instructional Technology Department at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy where she spearheaded the Haiti ESL (English as a Second Language) Program and the Norway Student Ambassador Program.  Pauletta Hatchett serves as the team leader of the "Ambassadors of Christ" Missions Ministry and is also the leader over Outreach for the Prison Ministry at her local church, The House of the Lord in Akron, Ohio.

 

Pauletta Hatchett understands the importance of academics and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Library Science, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree. 

 

Ms. Hatchett believes in having a lifestyle of physical fitness and activity, and has the ability to teach others to do the same.  As a child, she ran track in elementary school and junior high, played volleyball in junior high, was an assistant head majorette in high school in charge of training the squad for half-time shows during football games and special events, was a college cheerleader, and played in an adult women’s volleyball league. 

 

She has a great heart for spending time, coaching, and motivating today’s youth toward excellence in every aspect of their lives, especially in the areas of academics, health, and fitness.
